  1. Inspect the surrounding area to ensure there is nothing physically interfering with the movement of your automatic, electric, battery backup, or solar slide gate operator, such as an object or obstruction on the “V” track or an object interfering the in gear or belt mechanisms compartment. 2. Verify that your automatic swing or sliding gate opener, solar swing or sliding gate opener, battery backup swing or sliding gate opener, or electric swing or sliding gate opener has electrical power going to it.
  3. Note: If it is a solar powered swing or slide gate opener you will need to check the batteries to ensure that they are fully charged and connected correctly at the terminals. 3a. Inspect the batteries to ensure they are free of any type of corrosion.

3b. If corrosion is built up on the batteries or on or around the terminals and cable connections.

  4. Maglock – This LED will illuminate while opening and closing and be off when the gate is on a limit. This will only happen as long as Dip #2 (Mag) is On.
  5. Gate 1 – These are the open/close relays. These LED’s will illuminate when the board is providing 24VDC to the motor terminals.
  6. Gate 2 – These are the open/close relays. These LED’s will illuminate when the board is providing 24VDC to the motor terminals.
  7. Accessory Ovld – This LED will illuminate when there is more than 250 mA being drawn or a short across the accessory power output.

  11. Fuse Open – This LED will illuminate when the fuse is bad. The fuse will blow out if there is a short on the batteries or if the batteries are bad.
  12. Motor(s) need resetting when: (SL3000UL)
  13. Reset Motor LED light flashes once, THEN System ON LED will flash rapidly.
  1. You should check the breaker that the automatic swing gate operator or electric slide gate operator is connected to by switching the breaker off and switching the breaker back on again.
  2. Audio Alarm ON: (SL3000UL)

Probable Cause:

8a. Gate has encountered two consecutive obstructions while trying to close or open.

Solution:

8A. Any re-new command will resume normal operation but not a radio command. Check for obstructions.

About Rowlett, TX

Rowlett is a city in Dallas, County and Rockwall County in the United states of America in Texas, and an eastern suburb of the Dallas Fort Worth Arlington metroplex. The population was 67,339 as of the 2019 United States Census Bureau estimate. It is a growing, upscale community with nearly $1.5 billion in development in the Dallas Fort Worth Arlington Metroplex, located on Lake Ray Hubbard.

Rowlett derives its name from Rowlett Creek, which flows into Lake Ray Hubbard and is a major tributary of the east fork of the Trinity River. The creek in turn was named for a waterway running through the property of Daniel Rowlett who moved from Kentucky to Bonham, Texas, in 1835. Daniel Rowlett, who was a member of the Smoot Rowlett political family, had no direct dealings with the town that now bears his name.

The first post office opened on April 5, 1880, and it was called “Morris” after Postmaster Austin Morris.

Rowlett was incorporated in 1952 when its population was 250. In the 1960s the town languished as the Interstate Highway 30 bypassed Rowlett.

The town has had a building boom since the completion of Lake Ray Hubbard in 1971 growing to 1,600 by 1973; 10,573 by 1989; 23,260 by 1990; and 44,503 by 2000.

In 2003 the town made an unsuccessful formal proposal to get the Dallas Cowboys to move to a 1,000-acre “5-Point Park” on the banks of Lake Ray Hubbard when the lease for Texas Stadium expired.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the City of Rowlett is rated number 8 on the fastest growing cities list in the United States of America with 5.1% growth from July 2017 to July 2018.
